In a recently granted NWO-Vici project on plasmonic metasurfaces for single-molecule sensing we now have two openings (application deadline December 6th 2025)!
– we are looking for a talented and collaborative postdoc to develop approaches for thermal management of plasmonic structures. Together with Klaas-Jan Tielrooij we take up this big and interdisciplinary challenge with impact in the field of biosensing but also computing! Curious? You can apply here.
– we are looking for an enthusiastic PhD student to design and assemble colloidal metasurfaces to manipulate single-molecule fluorescence. Together with Jaime Gomez Rivas we take up this challenge at the interface of nanophotonics and physical chemistry with impact in biosensing and solid state lighting. Curious? More info here.
